Mike Shanahan, 56, has been fired by the Denver Broncos. As a Raiders fan, I love this. I hate Shanahan, but it is a suprise to me that he was fired. He had been with the team since 1995 and had a 146-89 record with the Broncos. But I guess being the first NFL team to blow a 3 game lead with 3 games to go will get you canned. Did anyone see that "playoff" game Sunday night? It was a monumental collapse by the "Donkeys". I loved it!!
Shanahan will now be probably be courted by the other teams that have canned coaches, the Lions, the Browns, and the Jets. Just stay out of the AFC West and I will be happy.
